Welcome!

Our door is open - to old friends, to new friends, and to friends whom we've not yet met. Come in!

About Me

Janet: Desert Southwest, United States; I am a seeker of beauty. And peace. And compasssion. I often feel the need to escape the craziness of this world. This is my soothing space. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. I am a reader, a gardener, a cook, a vegetarian, a writer, a poet, a crafter, a scrapbooker, a traveler, a neat freak, a hip tranquil chick, a romantic. I am discovering new things about myself and this experience of life all the time, and I never tire of it.

NOTE:

In this blog, Are We There Yet, the terms "bastard" and "bitch" are (almost always) used as terms of endearment. Sometimes in a fit of jealousy.

This is your life. There are no do-overs. Just remember that.

What if?

"What if you slept, and what if, in your sleep you dreamed? And what if, in your dream, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if, when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? What then?" -- Deepak Chopra
