I don't know which I love more the words or your art. What that a stamp that you colored in with watercolor? Now I'm curious about what else is in that little book of yours!
Liz, yes that's a stamp that I colored in with watercolor pencils. there are other haiku in that little book, but that's the only artwork so far. don't know why i never thought of it before. but i'll probably go back and add some more now, cuz i kinda like it too. ;) and btw, i'm slowly but surely starting the whole art journal process. i actually did a spread on friday night, and i even like it! will have to post about it later on.
Beautiful sentiments, Janet... and love your drawings in your notebook. Fun to see your handwriting--so neat is is! Wishing you a great, creative new week :o) ((HUGS))
I am a seeker of beauty. And peace. And compasssion. I often feel the need to escape the craziness of this world. This is my soothing space.
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
I am a reader, a gardener, a cook, a vegetarian, a writer, a poet, a crafter, a scrapbooker, a traveler, a neat freak, a hip tranquil chick, a romantic.
I am discovering new things about myself and this experience of life all the time, and I never tire of it.
In this blog, Are We There Yet, the terms "bastard" and "bitch" are (almost always) used as terms of endearment. Sometimes in a fit of jealousy.
This is your life. There are no do-overs. Just remember that.
